I was just offered the nursing position, as a county Clinic Float RN. There are no guaranteed hours and it is little pay for the profession, but it is more than enough to get us by, and extremely flexible! No weekends. I start March 9 in Orientation and shadowing other RN's. I'm very thankful and excited!
Popular misconception: Finding a nursing job here has not been easy. Of the two health systems in this entire county...there were only 6 jobs available, and 4 of those were critical care with experience necessary. So I am very fortunate to get this job!
Matt is still on the lookout for ANY job, and I am keeping my eyes open for other more stable positions to piggy back with this one.
