We've had some fabulous speaking engagements...this is truly fun! On Thursday we spoke at a picnic in Sheb. Falls for a Forever Young group from EFree. :) It was such an honor to be there, we felt like WE should be listening to THEM speak, so much experience and wisdom over the years...several retired missys (altho they never really retire!). It went really well and we were super blessed to have Elliot and Nora occupied/sleeping the whole time so we could focus.

Then we took a trip to Morrison, IL and loved reuniting with the family there. So many faces we remember and such joy to see us again, we were blessed once again. There were 4 baby girls there (including Nora) so it was fun to compare and talk with the other mamas. Then we headed over to a church plant near by called Bridge @ Beans. Cool place! Its a coffee shop that they designed and outreach to the community through open mic nights. The church itself is very fluid and casual and interactive. We loved seeing old friends and making new friends. It was refeshing to be with these bodies of believers.

Now we are in IL with Matt's folks, leaving Elliot here as we head to MHC in Ohio and then back to Northern WI to my childhood church which I haven't been to in 16 years!
